Stuart Youngentob, J.D., MBA
Mr. Youngentob is a principal of Arkin Youngentob Associates, LLC, a leader in the insurance and financial services industry in the Washington, DC metropolitan area for more than 50 years. With more than 25 years of experience in the areas of insurance, tax, and investment planning guidance Stuart counsels professional and industry leaders in the design of estate plans, corporate retirement plans, business succession plans, executive compensation plans and employee benefit programs. His areas of expertise extends to the all forms of corporate benefit programs including health and welfare benefits, qualified and nonqualified pension plans, long term care plans and incentive compensation planning. He has significant experience in the structuring and implementation of business and financial transactions for closely held businesses.
Stuart’s business experience includes six years of service as a senior officer of one of the largest privately held real estate companies in the Washington, DC area and three years as a tax professional for Price Waterhouse Coopers. Mr. Youngentob is recognized as a 10 time (2001 – 2010) qualifying member of the Top of the Table. He is active in industry organizations including the Association of Advanced Life Underwriters, The International Forum, Partners Financial (national advisory board) and the Washington DC Estate Planning Council. He is a Certified Public Accountant (not practicing) in Maryland, a member of the State Bar of Georgia and holds Life and Health insurance licenses for multiple states.
Mr. Youngentob is a founder and director of Monument Bank of Bethesda, Maryland. Committed to community service, Stuart has served as an officer, board member and volunteer for numerous philanthropic organizations including the Jewish Social Service Agency of Greater Washington (Executive Board), Men’s Club of the Hebrew Home of Washington, JCC Maccabi and the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington. He has also served as a youth golf, baseball and hockey coach.

Eugene Youngentob, CLU, ChFC, AEP
Eugene Youngentob, a principal and founder of Arkin Youngentob Associates, LLC, has more than 50 years of service in the insurance field. He counsels professional and industry leaders on advanced estate and business succession planning techniques.
Mr. Youngentob's expertise extends to the design and implementation of all forms of corporate benefits, including health and welfare benefits, qualified and nonqualified pension plans and incentive compensation planning.
During his 20 years as a general agent for Mass Mutual and Guardian Life Insurance Co., Mr. Youngentob recruited and trained more than 50 life insurance professionals. He has earned Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and Accredited Estate Planner designations.
He is a member of the Association of Advanced Life Underwriters, the Washington DC Estate Planning Council and Million Dollar Round Table. Mr. Youngentob has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Boston College and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance and taxation from Dartmouth College.
Active in the community, Mr. Youngentob has served as a volunteer, officer and board member for many philanthropic organizations. They include the Jewish Foundation for Group Homes, Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, Men's Club of the Hebrew Home and Washington Hebrew Congregation.
Joshua N. Jeffries, MBA, SPHR
Joshua Jeffries, a principal of Arkin Youngentob Associates, LLC, runs the firm's group insurance practice. His areas of expertise include the design, financing and administration of corporate health and welfare programs, executive insurance planning, human resources consulting, compliance, organizational design, business development and community outreach.
After beginning his insurance career in the Pittsburgh office of Northwestern Mutual, Joshua joined the Employee Benefits Group, Inc. (EBG) where over five years he built a substantial group practice. Josh left EBG and started his own firm, IHR Advisors, Inc., to focus on a more holistic solution to client needs encompassing human resources, employee benefits and HRIS technology solutions. IHR Advisors eventually merged with Arkin Youngentob Associates in 2009.
Mr. Jeffries graduated from Washington & Jefferson College with a bachelor's degree in business management and psychology. In 2007 he earned his Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Certification Institute of the Society for Human Resource Management. Joshua also earned his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business.
Committed to community service, Joshua has served as an officer, board member and volunteer for numerous philanthropic, community and professional organizations including the Montgomery Coalition for Adult English Literacy, The Mercy Health Clinic, RescueGroups.org, Montgomery County Society for Human Resource Management and The Rotary Club of Potomac.
Robert Black, CLTC
Robert Black, an associate of Arkin Youngentob Associates, LLC, has more than 14 years experience in the insurance industry. Mr. Black specializes in providing advice to small business owners, individuals and their families regarding long term care, income replacement and wealth preservation.
Prior to entering the life insurance business, Rob was the successor to a small family business. Upon the premature passing of the family patriach, he learned first hand the importance of comprehensive planning and the benefit of life insurance.
He has earned his Certificate in Long Term Care designation, is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Mr. Black holds life and health licenses for multiple states. Mr. Black graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelors Degree in marketing.
Active in the community, Mr. Black has served as a volunteer, officer and board member for many philanthropic organizations. They include the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington, JCC Maccabi and the Weizmann Institute of Science. Mr. Black has coached youth sports for many years.
